Viva V Samaná Arrival Guide: Planning Your Trip from SDQ

Viva V Samaná by Wyndham is an adults-only, all-inclusive resort in the Las Terrenas area of Samaná. If you are flying into Santo Domingo's Las Américas International Airport (SDQ), plan the onward trip before your arrival day. Your flight, resort reservation and ground transportation are separate parts of the journey.

Confirm your airport and resort

Check the airport code on your ticket and the resort name on your reservation. Samaná is a region as well as a destination name, so give any transport provider the full resort name rather than only “Samaná.” Check the resort's current address and arrival instructions directly with the property before travel.

Choose how to travel from SDQ

A prearranged private transfer is one option if you want to organize airport pickup and the resort drop-off in advance. A taxi or rental car may also fit your plans. Compare the current pickup details, total cost and cancellation terms for the option you choose. If considering public transport or a shared service, confirm its current route, schedule and final connection to the resort before relying on it after a flight.

Prepare for arrival day

Keep your flight number, reservation name and resort details accessible. If your arrival changes, contact the transport provider using the instructions in your booking confirmation. For a rental car, review the route and the rental terms before departure. For any booked ride, check where to meet the driver and what to do if you cannot find them.

Book the transfer on the route page

For current route details and booking options, use the dedicated Samaná transfer page. Enter your actual airport, destination and travel date there to review the available option. Confirm the final details before paying.
